What I love about photography is the chance to meet new people and explore new topics. I try to research as much as I can about the story I am going to tell before even touching the shutter - that way my images can come from a place of sincerity.

My first assignments came in 2007 for Baltimore Style and I have since been published by Forbes and Classic Boat among others.

Taking time to pursue a career in sailing tall ships  and in the National Parks Service has allowed me to stay grounded and have a reference point for reality other than from behind the lens.
